This jewel of a property contains one cozy bedroom, which has a comfortable queen-size bed, plenty of closet space, and a vaulted ceiling of rustic wood. The decor and bedding follow the desert-inspired theme.

Morongo Star Ranch has one bathroom, located across the hall, which contains a combination shower/tub. Need to do some laundry? A washer and dryer is available for your use.

The beautiful updated kitchen is fully equipped for any desert-inspired culinary endeavor. Like the rest of the home, even the kitchen offers stunning views. The kitchen faces the dining area, where you’ll find a table for 6. Although, you may be tempted to take your meal outside to the patio’s dining table, which also seats at least 8. Appliances include:

The sun-drenched living room features large windows and sliding glass doors that bring the outside in. It’s the perfect place to embrace the natural setting of this magical spot — no matter the temperature outside. Kick back and relax as you watch TV (DirecTV channels available) or stream your favorite tunes through the bluetooth speaker.

-OUTDOOR SPACE-
We want to make sure you are able to capture as much of the desert’s beauty and enjoy the sun as much as possible during your stay here. Thus, the outdoor space had been arranged to optimize your fun and relaxation. Admire the desert vistas from the wraparound patio, which is accessible from the living room, kitchen, or front door. You’ll find chairs and a BBQ out here, just waiting for you to have a cookout as the sun sets.

♦ Due to high fuel costs in our area, pool heating is not available in the winter but can be heated at $200/day in October & April. The pool is maintained at 80 degrees the other months, but can fluctuate slightly with extreme temperatures

As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. We pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

Neighborhood

Morongo Valley is a small, quiet community featuring one of the best bird watching locations in the Western United States: Big Morongo Canyon Preserve. Morongo Valley is an ideal High Desert locale, set halfway between the restaurants, shops, and nightlife of Palm Springs (30-minute drive) and the wonders of Joshua Tree National Park (35-minute drive to the West Entrance).

This area is located within a short drive of delicious restaurants and fun things to do. Here are a few favorites:
• Dillon's Burgers & Beers (7-minute drive) - Old-school eatery known for hearty food and arcade games.
• Morongo Valley Cafe (8-minute drive) - Neighborhood favorite for breakfast classics like eggs benedict and huevos rancheros.
• Joshua Tree Village (30-minute drive) - Quirky strip of boutiques and restaurants, including Coyote Corner, Space Cowboy Books, and the rustic Joshua Tree Saloon.
• Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum (35-minute drive) - As far from a stuffy gallery as you can imagine, this outdoor sculpture garden contains a unique collection of folk-art.

Transit

Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not if you follow our directions, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

PLEASE NOTE that names of streets on maps and on street signs often differ in Morongo Valley, and some roads can be quite difficult as they are not publicly maintained. Please be sure to follow our turn-by-turn directions.

Notes

• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.

• DOGS: Dogs are welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Maximum of 2 Dogs allowed. No other types of animals are authorized.

• SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!

• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

• WILDIFE: During the Spring & Summer, honeybees gather near the far end of the pool (and the spa). They are not aggressive and will typically ignore swimmers. We have created two small diversion pools and are working to get them to seek water elsewhere. We are very respectful of wildlife and have been working with experts from the National Park Service to mitigate this. We apologize for the inconvenience!

HouseRules

VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT A LEASE AND CONVEYS NO RIGHTS IN REAL PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. YOUR USE IS LIMITED TO THAT DEFINED HEREIN.

• The number of people on the property may not exceed the number of guests in your reservation confirmation plus two (regardless of whether they are staying the night or just visiting). Additional guest fees starting at $65 per person per night will apply for any unauthorized persons.

• Your sole right to access the property begins with the 3PM check-in and ends at the 11AM check-out, unless other times are approved in writing in advance. Check-in is not allowed after 9PM unless approved in advance. We will charge 50% of the daily rate for an unauthorized early arrival or late check-out.

• Dogs are allowed with prior written permission, with the payment of an additional cleaning fee, and only at certain properties. No other pets or animals are allowed. Dog owners agree to the following additional rules: use protective sheets that we will leave out for you to cover any place where your dog may lie (we are not equipped to shampoo furniture or rugs or dry clean bedding after your departure); dogs must be leashed at all times when outside (there are coyotes in the High Desert, which present danger to unleashed dogs) and owners must immediately pick up after their dogs and deposit waste in a plastic bag and place it in the garbage bin; dogs are not to be left unattended in the property at any time. In addition to our additional dog cleaning fee, we will deduct the costs of extra cleaning (including at least $50 for pet fur left on furniture due to lack of use of the provided protective sheets) or repairs necessitated by the presence of your dog.

• Recreational vehicles, motorcycles and camping or other overnight accommodations outside the property are not allowed. Violations of this policy will result in termination of the reservation with no refund.

• We do not guarantee the speed or availability of internet service. Internet service may be provided by a satellite and/or wireless provider and may be subject to more fluctuations and outages than you may be used to and we do not provide refunds or discounts due to internet problems. No illegal or abusive use of the internet access is allowed. Guests may log in to their personal accounts on any devices at the property (e.g. smart TVs), but guests are responsible for logging out of all personal accounts prior to leaving the property and we are not responsible for any use or purchase made on guest accounts.

• Cell service may not be available at the property due to the rural nature and geography of the area.

• The High Desert occasionally has power outages due to its rural nature. We are not responsible for any outages of Southern California Edison or any inconvenience such outage may cause. We will notify you of any planned outages and if requested will attempt to accommodate you elsewhere in the event of a planned outage lasting more than 4 hours. But we do not provide refunds or discounts for power outages that are unplanned.

• No photoshoots are allowed on the property without prior written approval and the payment of additional fees. Unauthorized use of the rental property’s name, address, or images, including its interior, exterior, and / or private property surroundings, for any commercial use including but not limited to selling, advertising, TV, film production, electronic, or other media, is not permitted and we will seek to have any use removed.

• Special events such as weddings and parties are not permitted without written approval and the payment of additional fees.

• Guests who utilize a property’s hot tub, pools and/or plunge pool do so at their own risk and we are not liable for any personal injury or other damages associated with such use. Guests may not use glass or pottery glassware, plates, etc. in or anywhere near any such water amenity. If any glass or pottery ware is broken in or near a water amenity, you will be charged the full amount to drain and refill the amenity and for any lost revenue during such service. Guests may not leave minors unattended at any hot tub, pool or plunge pool. If a water amenity is left uncovered, you will be charged a minimum of $100 for additional cleaning/filling/heating.
No lifeguard is on duty; the primary guest on the reservation is responsible for the safe operation of the pool and for the safety of any persons using the pool; by utilizing any pool or spa all guests acknowledge and accept the risk of injury resulting from use of the pool, malfunction of pool equipment, tripping or falling around the pool/spa and any other injuries that may occur and waive all claims against the homeowner or its representatives including Homestead Modern LLC.

• Guests shall allow the property owner or any designated workers access to the property for landscaping and routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs and building inspections, and pool and hot tub repairs and service.

• If for any reason beyond the control of the owner, the property is unavailable, we may cancel your reservation with only a refund to the actual fees and / or deposits you have paid.

• Smoking is not allowed inside the property or within 15 feet of any exterior door. Please dispose of your extinguished cigarette waste into a plastic bag and then into the outdoor

garbage can. Do not leave cigarette waste on the grounds. If these rules are violated, we will charge a minimum of $250.

• Propane firepits or fireplaces may not be used for burning wood or any other materials (it is illegal pursuant to a county ordinance and may damage the fixture). If any combustible materials are burned in them, we will charge a minimum of $500 cleaning fee.

• By making your reservation, you confirm that you will comply with (and your stay is allowed by) any applicable health or safety orders from the State of California.

• Firearms are not allowed on the property.

• Local ordinances prohibit any loud, excessive, or intrusive noise that disturbs the peace or that causes discomfort or annoyance to any reasonable person at any time as well as strict quiet hours between 10PM and 7AM. You must adhere to these rules.

• Please pay attention to all relevant short-term rental ordinances and other regulations (such as the noise ordinance above) in accordance with county or town guidelines. If you violate any ordinance and as a result the property is fined, you will be responsible for payment of the fine plus a $500 administrative fee.

• Payments are due 50% at 60 days before check-in and 50% at 30 days before check-in (or at the time of reservation if less than the days for either payment).

• A deposit is required at the time of booking and any unused portion will be returned 7 days after checkout. Bookings may include an accidental damage protection fee – with payment of this non-refundable fee, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $1000 and that you report to us during your stay. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets.

• We may withhold all or part of your deposit if you fail to follow the rules in this agreement, the property listing or the property house manual. If the cost of the damages, losses, or missing items exceed the amount of the deposit, we will bill your credit card for the difference and / or pursue legal action. Cause(s) for withholding deposit funds include, but are not limited to: damage to premises or contents, missing or broken items, lost keys, required excessive cleaning, not complying fully with the departure checklist, smoke odors or damage, mailing charges for items left behind, unauthorized persons visiting or staying on the property, the presence of a dog without authorization, noise complaints after 10PM, including fines, trespassing on neighboring properties, violation of any county or town rules and unauthorized late check-out.

• We are not responsible for any personal injury or personal property loss or damage that you or your guests may incur while at the property, you assume all risks associated with your visit and will hold the property owner and manager harmless from any injuries, loss or damage.

My husband, son and I had a great time at the Morongo Star Ranch. Very quiet place, comfy bed and beautiful design and setting all around. Drive in requires a short section of FWD and at night visibility can be tricky. Communication with the host was excellent. If anything the automated messages were a little too much and at times not relevant for our stay.

Our stay was amazing, the house is in the most perfect secluded location with stunning panoramic views of the valley. The pool and hot tub took the stay to another level as did the perfectly clear night sky watching. It’s only a 20 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs so we were able to dip in and out of the city when needed. We will definitely be coming back very soon!

Though we understand it can be frustrating when a few bees are enjoying the pool when you want to. One of the best staycation places I have ever visited. Everything about this place is aesthetically pleasing. Words won’t do justice to the beauty of it. You gotta see it for yourself. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. The pool and hot tub have some issues, which means we needed to message the Airbnb host anytime we wanted the hot tub turned on or the pool lights activated. There was some confusion around this at the beginning of our stay which created extra stress, but once we worked it out it was fine. Still, a bit of a hassle to have to message because the buttons at the pool were broken. That said, otherwise the stay was lovely. The house is even nicer than the photos let on, and we so enjoyed being able to stay there with our chihuahua, who even had his own bed to sleep in, left there by the hosts. They also provided extra sheets to cover the furniture if you would like your pet to be able to be on the furniture. The view from the pool was everything we hoped for, and star gazing at night was just lovely. Was a very romantic anniversary stay for my husband and I, despite the hot tub activation confusion/hassle.

This home is fantastic. There are a few standout features that make this a place we will definitely return. First…the home has the best natural light I have ever experienced in any residential environment. It’s like living in a solarium. It is fantastic. Secondly, the house is situated such that there are essentially no neighbors. It is extremely private and with exceptional 360 degree views from every window. Finally, the pool and spa are heaven. They are both soothing during the day, but the star gazing at night from the spa is exceptional. Also….the place is spotless. We will be back.

Our experience was great. The house is extremely beautiful and real cozy. Very private which we enjoyed. There are bees in the pool during the day but we had no problem sharing it with them. We absolutely loved staying at Morongo Star Ranch! We decided to do a quick getaway for 4th of July and wanted somewhere quiet and private. Morongo Star did not disappoint! Check-in was smooth and easy! Before checking in - they did advise of bees drinking water near the pool/spa during the Spring/Summer which was not an issue for us as bees are not aggressive. We were still able to enjoy the pool/spa as well as the gas grill. Beautiful views from the property! The house also included some board games and sun hats for those hot Summer days. We look forward to staying here again!

We had a perfect long weekend away! The place really is it’s own beautiful paradise. Absolutely LOVED my stay at Morongo Star Ranch. The location is a perfect balance between isolation and access. With HUGE views and all the amenities. the road in is bumpy but I saw smaller 4door cars making it just fine. When I first arrived, the electronic lock pad was not operating, there was a lock box with a key inside the host was extremely communicative, and I was inside fairly quickly. The pool and spa were clean and beautiful and easy to operate. Completely private. The kitchen had everything you could need including charger boxes and pool area appropriate dishes. Overall loved this bnb and hope to return soon. In fact, I believe my exact words were “I can’t think of any reason to stay anywhere else” ”

Beautiful, remote location with absolutely stunning views from dusk to dawn. Absolutely silent aside from some coyotes howling at dusk. Very clean, nicely decorated, and well-stocked kitchen. Some things like the grill and hot tub take some explanation/instruction that was not immediately available, so I think the house manual could use some updating. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and loved morning coffee overlooking the mountains, and evening drinks listening to the wildlife as the sun set.

This was a perfect sanctuary for us to get away from the city. The size was exactly what we were looking for. Our favorite area , of course, was the hot tub and pool. The house is clean and comfortable. The location is definitely out of the way - great if you're staying put, but inconvenient if you plan to go in and out. I'm surprised other reviewers didn't mention this, but the pool was frequented by yellow jackets during our stay. You're out in nature and yes, expect bugs and wildlife. We were looking forward to a relaxing time by the pool. The regular stream of 2 to 3 yellow jackets at a time circling and landing in the pool was not fun or relaxing. I think a pool cover is needed - that would also help with the number of dead bugs in the pool.

Staying at this house will be a top memory of mine. The location, the pool the crystals and whole vibe of the home were all just perfect and beautiful. First off, beautiful property with a really nice view! Our stay started off a little bit bumpy as the code that was provide for entering the house was invalid and it took a bit for host to get back to us as we stood in the 106 heat ? second, the pics for this house are a little bit misleading; house is a lot smaller than expected so just keep this in mind. Post is marketed to comfortably sleep 4 but that’s misleading. The one queen bed is enough for two small people. The pull out sofa cot was unbearable to sleep on, so hard and uncomfortable. I strongly suggest they change that out so nights can be enjoyable as well. We definitely appreciate the functionality of the kitchen, it has all the basics which is also another important point. Location is out in the middle of nowhere so bring your own everything! Lastly, pool & spa are brand new and it’s amazing!!! But the pool area seemed to maybe be a bit unfinished. It’s spacious & there is places to sit but absolutely no shade. They really need to put a couple of umbrellas out there so guests don’t cook out there the entire day! All in all it’s on a beautiful lot and has lots of character!

This place was awesome. What a perfect weekend get away. Isolated and tranquil, perfect for getting away and relaxing. WiFi worked like a charm, was able to watch a boxing event live (Canelo fight) on my outdoor projector. The pool was heated. Spent all day Saturday drinking and lounging by the pool. Had carne asada with salsas delivered from Cardenas market via Instacart, and cooked it outside on the house grill. The kitchen had everything we needed. Google maps GPS worked great to find the spot. We had a weekend without a moon, which made for an amazing view of the starry night sky. Will definitely book again. Perfect weather in early November. Beautiful, peaceful escape with a luxurious, design-forward pool and hot tub. This light-filled house looks out onto mountains and hills with no houses in the way, and there are several touches that made it even more special: two big straw hats for those hot sunny days, a grill, extra towels for bathroom and pool, lovely sheets, comfortable bed and furniture, and excellent communication from the hosts. My husband and I just got home from a 3 day stay at Morongo Star Ranch. We had an amazing time exploring and relaxing in this beautiful and clean space that was fully equipped with all the comforts of home. This is a beautiful space and exceeded my expectations tenfold. The house is equipped with literally everything you need! I overpacked because I knew there was a working kitchen, but I assumed they wouldn't have all the pots, spoons, plates and appliances I would need to make my meal (it was a big meal!) To my surprise, they had everything I needed. There was no need to bring any of my stuff from home. The house was very clean and knowing that it is run by a professional management company who hires a professional cleaning staff made me feel a little more comfortable about the cleanliness of the house, especially in the wake of covid-19. The location is spectacular and the decor is super stylish and cozy. The house has an amazing ambiance overall. It is the perfect place to unwind, reflect and maybe even be creative. We had no issues arriving after dark. But it is definitely a remote spot. Be sure to download the instructions since cell reception is pretty limited out there.

Morongo Ranch is very special in all the ways that matter while on a special getaway. The home is stylish, decorated in the unique style of the Southwest with a strong orientation towards the outdoors - large glass doors and panels connects the living space with the outdoors. Outdoor seating area on all four sides of the home allows for the enjoyment of the surrounding natural beauty at any time of the day or night. We specially enjoyed early morning coffee each day while the sun came up - a magical time in the desert. The home is perfectly located in five acres of land: a very quiet and scenic location, 20-30 minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. There are great hikes, fascinating museums, and spas with a focus on natural hot springs - all within 30 minutes of Morongo Ranch. It is the perfect place to relax and refresh. I offer my highest recommendation.

We enjoyed our time there. It is a beautiful setting. There's easy access to Joshua Tree National Park, and you can easily spend a day there. But if you want to spend a lot of time in Palm Springs, know that it's a 30-minute drive. Overall, a pleasant experience for us.

If you are looking for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this would be the perfect place! It offers amazing views of the mountains, privacy, and comfort. This is a beautiful little house that is thoughtfully designed to embrace the landscape where it is placed. The interior is nicely decorated and spotless. The large windows provide views of the surrounding countryside, and there is outside seating on each side of the house to allow comfortable viewing of the beautiful location. It is remote enough that I felt the solitude I was seeking, but not so far from civilization that I felt unduly isolated. I would love to return someday.

Morongo Star Ranch is a beautiful getaway location in the middle of the desert. It is as isolated as mentioned, which is both exhilarating and calming. Both the mornings and nights have its beauties. I really enjoyed my stay there, and was very happy to not have to deal with any insects in the house! —might have been since we went during mid-january, but nonetheless for a house such in the nature it was great to not have to deal with bugs. The reviews about the ceiling pests are true, but they’re fine and mild, and it didn’t bother me at all!

This was my most magical Airbnb experience. What a beautiful space! I was a bit intimidated to drive here on the stretch of unpaved road, but it really added to the experience. My husband, son and I had a great time at the Morongo Star Ranch. Very quiet place, comfy bed and beautiful design and setting all around. Drive in requires a short section of FWD and at night visibility can be tricky. Communication with the host was excellent. If anything the automated messages were a little too much and at times not relevant for our stay.

Our stay was amazing, the house is in the most perfect secluded location with stunning panoramic views of the valley. The pool and hot tub took the stay to another level as did the perfectly clear night sky watching. It’s only a 20 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs so we were able to dip in and out of the city when needed. We will definitely be coming back very soon!

One of the best staycation places I have ever visited. Everything about this place is aesthetically pleasing. Words won’t do justice to the beauty of it. You gotta see it for yourself. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. The pool and hot tub have some issues, which means we needed to message the Airbnb host anytime we wanted the hot tub turned on or the pool lights activated. There was some confusion around this at the beginning of our stay which created extra stress, but once we worked it out it was fine. Still, a bit of a hassle to have to message because the buttons at the pool were broken. That said, otherwise the stay was lovely. The house is even nicer than the photos let on, and we so enjoyed being able to stay there with our chihuahua, who even had his own bed to sleep in, left there by the hosts. They also provided extra sheets to cover the furniture if you would like your pet to be able to be on the furniture. The view from the pool was everything we hoped for, and star gazing at night was just lovely. Was a very romantic anniversary stay for my husband and I, despite the hot tub activation confusion/hassle.

This home is fantastic. There are a few standout features that make this a place we will definitely return. First…the home has the best natural light I have ever experienced in any residential environment. It’s like living in a solarium. It is fantastic. Secondly, the house is situated such that there are essentially no neighbors. It is extremely private and with exceptional 360 degree views from every window. Finally, the pool and spa are heaven. They are both soothing during the day, but the star gazing at night from the spa is exceptional. Also….the place is spotless. We will be back.

Our experience was great. The house is extremely beautiful and real cozy. Very private which we enjoyed. There are bees in the pool during the day but we had no problem sharing it with them. We absolutely loved staying at Morongo Star Ranch! We decided to do a quick getaway for 4th of July and wanted somewhere quiet and private. Morongo Star did not disappoint! Check-in was smooth and easy! Before checking in - they did advise of bees drinking water near the pool/spa during the Spring/Summer which was not an issue for us as bees are not aggressive. We were still able to enjoy the pool/spa as well as the gas grill. Beautiful views from the property! The house also included some board games and sun hats for those hot Summer days. Absolutely LOVED my stay at Morongo Star Ranch. The location is a perfect balance between isolation and access. With HUGE views and all the amenities. the road in is bumpy but I saw smaller 4door cars making it just fine. When I first arrived, the electronic lock pad was not operating, there was a lock box with a key inside the host was extremely communicative, and I was inside fairly quickly. The pool and spa were clean and beautiful and easy to operate. Completely private. The kitchen had everything you could need including charger boxes and pool area appropriate dishes. Overall loved this bnb and hope to return soon. In fact, I believe my exact words were “I can’t think of any reason to stay anywhere else” ”

Beautiful, remote location with absolutely stunning views from dusk to dawn. Absolutely silent aside from some coyotes howling at dusk. Very clean, nicely decorated, and well-stocked kitchen. Some things like the grill and hot tub take some explanation/instruction that was not immediately available, so I think the house manual could use some updating. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and loved morning coffee overlooking the mountains, and evening drinks listening to the wildlife as the sun set.

The house is clean and comfortable. The location is definitely out of the way - great if you're staying put, but inconvenient if you plan to go in and out. I'm surprised other reviewers didn't mention this, but the pool was frequented by yellow jackets during our stay. You're out in nature and yes, expect bugs and wildlife. We were looking forward to a relaxing time by the pool. The regular stream of 2 to 3 yellow jackets at a time circling and landing in the pool was not fun or relaxing. I think a pool cover is needed - that would also help with the number of dead bugs in the pool.

First off, beautiful property with a really nice view! Our stay started off a little bit bumpy as the code that was provide for entering the house was invalid and it took a bit for host to get back to us as we stood in the 106 heat ? second, the pics for this house are a little bit misleading; house is a lot smaller than expected so just keep this in mind. Post is marketed to comfortably sleep 4 but that’s misleading. The one queen bed is enough for two small people. The pull out sofa cot was unbearable to sleep on, so hard and uncomfortable. I strongly suggest they change that out so nights can be enjoyable as well. We definitely appreciate the functionality of the kitchen, it has all the basics which is also another important point. Location is out in the middle of nowhere so bring your own everything! Lastly, pool & spa are brand new and it’s amazing!!! But the pool area seemed to maybe be a bit unfinished. It’s spacious & there is places to sit but absolutely no shade. They really need to put a couple of umbrellas out there so guests don’t cook out there the entire day! All in all it’s on a beautiful lot and has lots of character!

This place was awesome. What a perfect weekend get away. Isolated and tranquil, perfect for getting away and relaxing. WiFi worked like a charm, was able to watch a boxing event live (Canelo fight) on my outdoor projector. The pool was heated. Spent all day Saturday drinking and lounging by the pool. Had carne asada with salsas delivered from Cardenas market via Instacart, and cooked it outside on the house grill. The kitchen had everything we needed. Google maps GPS worked great to find the spot. We had a weekend without a moon, which made for an amazing view of the starry night sky. Will definitely book again. Perfect weather in early November. Beautiful, peaceful escape with a luxurious, design-forward pool and hot tub. This light-filled house looks out onto mountains and hills with no houses in the way, and there are several touches that made it even more special: two big straw hats for those hot sunny days, a grill, extra towels for bathroom and pool, lovely sheets, comfortable bed and furniture, and excellent communication from the hosts. This is a beautiful space and exceeded my expectations tenfold. The house is equipped with literally everything you need! I overpacked because I knew there was a working kitchen, but I assumed they wouldn't have all the pots, spoons, plates and appliances I would need to make my meal (it was a big meal!) To my surprise, they had everything I needed. There was no need to bring any of my stuff from home. The house was very clean and knowing that it is run by a professional management company who hires a professional cleaning staff made me feel a little more comfortable about the cleanliness of the house, especially in the wake of covid-19. The location is spectacular and the decor is super stylish and cozy. The house has an amazing ambiance overall. It is the perfect place to unwind, reflect and maybe even be creative. It's a great stay for people who love nature and want to be distant from people. But I will mention that the wildlife makes plenty of noises outside in the night, just something to get used to but nothing major to worry about. It's all apart of the experience ?

A wonderful escape in the middle of nowhere. Don't use your Google Maps. You'll need to use the detailed instructions sent upon confirmation. Very easy to follow, and accurate. We had no issues arriving after dark. But it is definitely a remote spot. Be sure to download the instructions since cell reception is pretty limited out there.

Morongo Ranch is very special in all the ways that matter while on a special getaway. The home is stylish, decorated in the unique style of the Southwest with a strong orientation towards the outdoors - large glass doors and panels connects the living space with the outdoors. Outdoor seating area on all four sides of the home allows for the enjoyment of the surrounding natural beauty at any time of the day or night. We specially enjoyed early morning coffee each day while the sun came up - a magical time in the desert. The home is perfectly located in five acres of land: a very quiet and scenic location, 20-30 minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. There are great hikes, fascinating museums, and spas with a focus on natural hot springs - all within 30 minutes of Morongo Ranch. It is the perfect place to relax and refresh. I offer my highest recommendation.

We enjoyed our time there. It is a beautiful setting. There's easy access to Joshua Tree National Park, and you can easily spend a day there. But if you want to spend a lot of time in Palm Springs, know that it's a 30-minute drive. Overall, a pleasant experience for us.

If you are looking for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this would be the perfect place! It offers amazing views of the mountains, privacy, and comfort. The place is stylishly furnished, perfectly sized for a couple, and has a cozy room where you can enjoy movies. We were truly impressed with how promptly our host responded to any concerns we had and made our stay enjoyable. We would definitely come back!

This is a beautiful little house that is thoughtfully designed to embrace the landscape where it is placed. The interior is nicely decorated and spotless. The large windows provide views of the surrounding countryside, and there is outside seating on each side of the house to allow comfortable viewing of the beautiful location. It is remote enough that I felt the solitude I was seeking, but not so far from civilization that I felt unduly isolated. I would love to return someday.

We rally enjoyed our stay at this house. It has doors and windows on all 4 sides with beautiful views all around. Comfy mid century furniture and woven rugs. Well appointed kitchen with big solid coffee cups. Interesting art inside and out. Comfortable chairs on all sides of the house. Quiet and isolated without neighbors within shouting distance. We will come again

Morongo Star Ranch is a beautiful getaway location in the middle of the desert. It is as isolated as mentioned, which is both exhilarating and calming. Both the mornings and nights have its beauties. I really enjoyed my stay there, and was very happy to not have to deal with any insects in the house! —might have been since we went during mid-january, but nonetheless for a house such in the nature it was great to not have to deal with bugs. The reviews about the ceiling pests are true, but they’re fine and mild, and it didn’t bother me at all!

Such a rad space that’s very secluded and relaxed. You can escape from your busy life here and enjoy being in nature. A night under the stars is a unique experience, you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. We would definitely return.

This was my most magical Airbnb experience. What a beautiful space! I was a bit intimidated to drive here on the stretch of unpaved road, but it really added to the experience. The provided instructions were perfection and I was able to do it by memory on day 3. Communication was extremely fast and helpful. The views and the quiet was unbeatable.
