The Bungalows are the premiere offering of Retreat by Homestead Modern. 14 suites nestled in the northwest corner of the historic 152 acre Joshua Tree Retreat Center campus and abutting the Mojave Desert Land Trust. The Bungalows are housed in authentic mid-century post-and-beam-style buildings featuring newly renovated interiors that were architecturally restored in 2022. They are surrounded by sky and serenity and endless views of Joshua Trees, but only a few minutes away from Joshua Tree Village, the national park entrance and Pioneertown.
Guests of The Bungalows enjoy the same level of hospitality as found at all Homestead Modern's properties in the High Desert. With simple design changes and integration of technology, we offer our guests a low touch experience, with high guest service. We utilize a smart lock for each Bungalow allowing a self check-in process and there is no front desk, though our local support team is available from 9am-9pm daily.
