? GENERAL: As guests, you can enjoy full access to the entire home. Only registered guests are allowed unless specifically agreed upon during the booking process.

• SELF CHECK-IN: Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be sent to you prior to check-in.

HouseRules

VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT A LEASE AND CONVEYS NO RIGHTS IN REAL PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. YOUR USE IS LIMITED TO THAT DEFINED HEREIN.

• The number of people on the property may not exceed the number of guests in your reservation confirmation plus two (regardless of whether they are staying the night or just visiting). Additional guest fees starting at $65 per person per night will apply for any unauthorized persons.

• Your sole right to access the property begins with the 3PM check-in and ends at the 11AM check-out, unless other times are approved in writing in advance. Check-in is not allowed after 9PM unless approved in advance. We will charge 50% of the daily rate for an unauthorized early arrival or late check-out.

• Dogs are allowed with prior written permission, with the payment of an additional cleaning fee, and only at certain properties. No other pets or animals are allowed. Dog owners agree to the following additional rules: use protective sheets that we will leave out for you to cover any place where your dog may lie (we are not equipped to shampoo furniture or rugs or dry clean bedding after your departure); dogs must be leashed at all times when outside (there are coyotes in the High Desert, which present danger to unleashed dogs) and owners must immediately pick up after their dogs and deposit waste in a plastic bag and place it in the garbage bin; dogs are not to be left unattended in the property at any time. In addition to our additional dog cleaning fee, we will deduct the costs of extra cleaning (including at least $50 for pet fur left on furniture due to lack of use of the provided protective sheets) or repairs necessitated by the presence of your dog.

• Recreational vehicles, motorcycles and camping or other overnight accommodations outside the property are not allowed. Violations of this policy will result in termination of the reservation with no refund.

• We do not guarantee the speed or availability of internet service. Internet service may be provided by a satellite and/or wireless provider and may be subject to more fluctuations and outages than you may be used to and we do not provide refunds or discounts due to internet problems. No illegal or abusive use of the internet access is allowed. Guests may log in to their personal accounts on any devices at the property (e.g. smart TVs), but guests are responsible for logging out of all personal accounts prior to leaving the property and we are not responsible for any use or purchase made on guest accounts.

• Cell service may not be available at the property due to the rural nature and geography of the area.

• The High Desert occasionally has power outages due to its rural nature. We are not responsible for any outages of Southern California Edison or any inconvenience such outage may cause. We will notify you of any planned outages and if requested will attempt to accommodate you elsewhere in the event of a planned outage lasting more than 4 hours. But we do not provide refunds or discounts for power outages that are unplanned.

• No photoshoots are allowed on the property without prior written approval and the payment of additional fees. Unauthorized use of the rental property’s name, address, or images, including its interior, exterior, and / or private property surroundings, for any commercial use including but not limited to selling, advertising, TV, film production, electronic, or other media, is not permitted and we will seek to have any use removed.

• Special events such as weddings and parties are not permitted without written approval and the payment of additional fees.

• Guests who utilize a property’s hot tub, pools and/or plunge pool do so at their own risk and we are not liable for any personal injury or other damages associated with such use. Guests may not use glass or pottery glassware, plates, etc. in or anywhere near any such water amenity. If any glass or pottery ware is broken in or near a water amenity, you will be charged the full amount to drain and refill the amenity and for any lost revenue during such service. Guests may not leave minors unattended at any hot tub, pool or plunge pool. If a water amenity is left uncovered, you will be charged a minimum of $100 for additional cleaning/filling/heating.
No lifeguard is on duty; the primary guest on the reservation is responsible for the safe operation of the pool and for the safety of any persons using the pool; by utilizing any pool or spa all guests acknowledge and accept the risk of injury resulting from use of the pool, malfunction of pool equipment, tripping or falling around the pool/spa and any other injuries that may occur and waive all claims against the homeowner or its representatives including Homestead Modern LLC.

• Guests shall allow the property owner or any designated workers access to the property for landscaping and routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs and building inspections, and pool and hot tub repairs and service.

• If for any reason beyond the control of the owner, the property is unavailable, we may cancel your reservation with only a refund to the actual fees and / or deposits you have paid.

• Smoking is not allowed inside the property or within 15 feet of any exterior door. Please dispose of your extinguished cigarette waste into a plastic bag and then into the outdoor

garbage can. Do not leave cigarette waste on the grounds. If these rules are violated, we will charge a minimum of $250.

• Propane firepits or fireplaces may not be used for burning wood or any other materials (it is illegal pursuant to a county ordinance and may damage the fixture). If any combustible materials are burned in them, we will charge a minimum of $500 cleaning fee.

• By making your reservation, you confirm that you will comply with (and your stay is allowed by) any applicable health or safety orders from the State of California.

• Firearms are not allowed on the property.

• Local ordinances prohibit any loud, excessive, or intrusive noise that disturbs the peace or that causes discomfort or annoyance to any reasonable person at any time as well as strict quiet hours between 10PM and 7AM. You must adhere to these rules.

• Please pay attention to all relevant short-term rental ordinances and other regulations (such as the noise ordinance above) in accordance with county or town guidelines. If you violate any ordinance and as a result the property is fined, you will be responsible for payment of the fine plus a $500 administrative fee.

• Payments are due 50% at 60 days before check-in and 50% at 30 days before check-in (or at the time of reservation if less than the days for either payment).

• A deposit is required at the time of booking and any unused portion will be returned 7 days after checkout. Bookings may include an accidental damage protection fee – with payment of this non-refundable fee, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $1000 and that you report to us during your stay. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets.

• We may withhold all or part of your deposit if you fail to follow the rules in this agreement, the property listing or the property house manual. If the cost of the damages, losses, or missing items exceed the amount of the deposit, we will bill your credit card for the difference and / or pursue legal action. Cause(s) for withholding deposit funds include, but are not limited to: damage to premises or contents, missing or broken items, lost keys, required excessive cleaning, not complying fully with the departure checklist, smoke odors or damage, mailing charges for items left behind, unauthorized persons visiting or staying on the property, the presence of a dog without authorization, noise complaints after 10PM, including fines, trespassing on neighboring properties, violation of any county or town rules and unauthorized late check-out.

• We are not responsible for any personal injury or personal property loss or damage that you or your guests may incur while at the property, you assume all risks associated with your visit and will hold the property owner and manager harmless from any injuries, loss or damage.

We absolutely loved our stay at climbers paradise! The kiddos love the game room with rock wall, they don’t most of their time here. The art room is such a great touch, and all the doors to outside make it feel like you are a part of the nature. The backyard is incredible with its jacuzzi and cowboy pool! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back. My favorite part is when night falls you are swarmed by stars! Bring your telescope!! Or maybe the could add one? Either way this weekend was fantastic!

We hosted a friend reunion that was 6 years in the making here and we couldn't have asked for a better place! There was plenty of room for everyone to participate in an activity as a group or as an individual, and that allowed for our varying energies to flow so well. What a wonderful stay! This house is soooo beautiful! It really is the best of all worlds. There was a room for every one and every space was super spacious. The house is clean, smells like a resort, and the beds were super comfortable. I love that the activity rooms connect to the main house. The kids had a blast in the painting room and the climbing wall was out of this world!! I messaged the host about trying to get the projector to work and that went really smoothly. We got to watch Dune on it and it was awesome! Highly recommend, thank you for the great memories.

Climber’s paradise was an ideal staycation spot. We had all amenities and were able to enjoy our time. This was a beautifully thought out and decorated home with so much space, which gave us cozy vibes during a weekend under the bright stars of the milky way galaxy. I highly recommend this place, and is just down the street to the entrance into Joshua Tree National Park as well!

Tremendously enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and game room were a personal favorite of mine. But also spent many an hour in the art room. The cowboy pool was very simple to use in tandem with the hot tub. Helped to beat the heat. The A/C was brilliant. Joshua Tree is walking distance and there are plenty of amenities on site. What a beautiful home! We've stayed in a lot of AirBnB's that are homes that are just 4 walls, no style, no love, empty picture frames with the tags still on them, etc. THIS PLACE IS NOT THAT. We loved every minute that we were here. We both rock climb, so the climbing walls were the main thing that drew us here, but the spa, cowboy pool, fire pits, projector, and everything else were definitely put to use as well. It's very close to the main entrance of the park, ~10-15 minutes up the road, and it's ~8 minutes from the downtown area where there is a lot of vintage shopping, coffee, and restaurants. The managers of the property were very prompt in responding to questions we had, and very accommodating. We'll definitely be coming backl.

We had an amazing time celebrating our bride to be at Climber’s Paradise! Check in was a breeze. The house is huge and has SO much to offer, we wish we had more time there to enjoy all its amenities. The kitchen has everything you’d need to cook any meal and they even provide coffee & sugar. The neighborhood is quiet and secure, and it’s only blocks from the National park. We hardly left the house during our stay. The host was kind enough to recommend some local restaurants and activities so we visited the JT farmers market and had a delicious dinner at a Mexican restaurant 10 mins away. The bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of towels, make up wipes, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. We loved the art room! We all painted pictures of the groom for the bride to keep. I personally loved the abundance of temperature control, I run hot and it was so nice having ceiling fans, mini splits and central AC. We can’t wait to come back and stay at more Homestead Modern properties!

Our family spent a wonderful weekend at the homestead modern! There are so many great spots to gather around the property. The game room with climbing wall was a unique treat! We loved the fire pit and the inline gas made barbecuing a breeze. Access to the wilderness area of the park is just a short walk from the property and a nice little hike for the early morning. We loved the dog friendly amenities and appreciated the host check in on our stay! This is a perfect spot for a family gathering:)

As we discussed the rating for our stay, we wavered between 4 and 5 stars. Family vacation, 6 adults plus a 7 year old - Feb 2024, coming from 3 different cities. This house had all of the things we were looking for. Spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. A good kitchen and a large dining table - we like to cook and eat together, and play board games late into the night. Good gas grill just outside the dining room. There is a ton of room here, even before you get to the "art room" and "climbing room". The 7 year old especially loved the "art room". She and here father did a lot of painting and played on the foosball table on our rainy day. The house was wonderfully clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was excellent. We had some issues, however, with maintenance items that detracted from enjoying our stay. We have detailed them for the owners, and hopefully they will correct these for their future visitors. I would stay here again. Good house.

Climber's Paradise was pretty close to paradise. We had a great stay and would return. The location was between the two main entrances, which saved us from waiting in long lines at the West entrance. It was also nice to be able to walk up the street and be in a corner of the park. The house was VERY clean. We appreciated the little touches... numerous throw blankets, bottle of wine. Our whole family enjoyed the game room. Even though we could never get the Projector working, the host did try to help us. There were only a couple problems - no paper / dish towels, broken record player - but neither negatively impacted our stay. We appreciated the host's responsiveness. We also loved the outdoor space! Who knew Bocce ball was so fun! The jacuzzi was hot and the outdoor fire pit convenient. Though it wasn't as dark as we'd hoped due to lights from town and street posts we could still see countless stars. Climber's Paradise was a true find and we highly recommend!

The house was beautiful, clean, cozy, the kids loved climbing and painting. We had some difficulty finding the right way to get in the house since we checked in late but the host was very responsive and helped us figure it out quickly. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, the guest shower wasn’t working so everyone had to use the master bedroom shower. The bikes were nowhere to be found and we were a little disappointed that the key to the outdoor fireplace was missing since we were excited to have s’mores outside but overall, the place was really fun! I would recommend it!

Climbers Paradise was AWESOME. Our kids had an incredible time climbing, playing ping pong and foosball. The weather was rainy and cool so we stayed inside most of the time, though did enjoy the hot tub. The house was large and very comfortable. The living room was huge and allowed for 8 people to be on the couch at once. The back room with the climbing wall was amazing and the hit of the weekend; the kids loved climbing all over the walls, playing the games and watching tv in what was basically a movie theatre. The outdoor firepit had tons of seating, jacuzzi was clean, views were amazing and the house was easy to find. Access to the national park was right up the road so hiking didn't require a car ride which was great. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is great for families, especially older kids. Plenty of space to spread out and fun things to do. We took advantage of the game room, bbq, and spa. Loved that we could bring our dog and it is a short walk to part of Joshua tree park with a little trail. The host was responsive. When the fire alarm started chirping, they sent a maintenence guy over quick to swap out the battery. There were small things that could have been better (dishwasher botton rack broken, no paper towels, not enough towels, sewage smell by the outside fire pit and the heat kicking in in the middle of the night), but hopefully it will be fixed by the next guests. Overall, we were happy and it was a great vacation.

Omg climbers paradise was a DREAM. We never wanted to leave!!! A group of 8 of us stayed there for the meteor shower and it did not disappoint. Large lay out, comfy beds, great kitchen, outdoor space was awesome with the fire pits and great stargazing conditions! The climbing room was a fan favorite with the big screen and ping pong table. We would absolutely stay here again and again. If you need a place for a large group BOOK HERE. Also proximity to JTNP and Walmart/convenience stores was very convenient but also remote enough to where it felt private.

Beautiful home, spacious, peaceful, a great spot for families. Kids (& adults) can play and paint in their art room, supplies are ready to use. Their playroom has a large projector setup to stream movies, a climbing wall which was a blast to climb, and ping pong table too! Went here for my 30th birthday with my fiance, friends, and dog. There was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy and we had a lot of fun with the rock climbing wall, ping pong, and movie set up. There's also a record player with a good variety of music to choose from. My fiance is a chef so the kitchen was heavily utilized. We also spent a lot of time outside during the night so we can take a good look at the stars which were beautiful. There's a Walmart, Aldi's, Vons, Ross, Marshalls, and more not too far away which was a huge surprise to me. Very convenient. Some cons were items that were either broken or super easy to break like the chairs, ping pong paddle,and a whisk. The outside also isn't fenced and there is are cacti which isn't necessarily a bad thing but just make sure if you bring your dog to keep them on leash. Still, they were very good about communication and more than willing to bring over a new paddle and fix/check anything we needed.

We decided to spend a weekend at Joshua tree for a friend’s birthday. The house was easy to find, great decor and plenty of space to lounge around. They also provided a pack and play for our baby. My favorite spot was the front swing. This spot had the best skyviews at sunrise and sunset. The 2 fun back rooms were unique and we had a great time spending time in those 2 rooms. They are exactly as pictured! There is a stater brothers and vons within 20 mins of the house. We went to the park from the North entrance which is about 30 minutes away and did a couple of hikes with our 6 month old baby. We enjoyed our stay at the Climbers Paradise and would consider coming back!

What an experience. LARGE, beautiful house full of amenities. Entertainment galore for the kids. We had some trouble figuring out a feature on the bath in the main bathroom and Homestead Modern was sooo helpful, responding within minutes and guiding us through every step. The surroundings was just beautiful. You can walk down one block and be at the border of Joshua Tree National Park. Sunset and Sunrise is stunning on this little patch of the walk. We had an amazing experience. A helpful hint for next guests would be to fill the Cowboy Tub up in the morning so that it can be warmed up by the sun, perfect in time for an afternoon dip after a day of hiking!

Climber’s Paradise is such a beautiful and fun home that we thought the photos did not do it justice. There wasn’t enough time to do everything on offer. We watched sunrises from the porch swing and stars from the spa. Half of us painted on canvas for the first time. The wall-climbing, ping-pong, and foosball were great for our 3-generation family. The young ones loved the cowboy swimming pool and at least one of the adults enjoyed the outdoor shower. We hiked the neighborhood roads and a bit into the National Park. I think everyone tried out the hammock. The kitchen was well-provisioned and a pleasure to use with counter space for multiple cooks and seating for others. The beds were very comfortable, and the bed linens attractive with separate indoor and outdoor towels. There was an abundance of engaging places to be both inside and outside of the house. Being there felt expansive and generous and relaxing.

Had a great stay at this house. Shared it with another family, so they were six of us in total. Honestly was even bigger than we needed. One bedroom went unused, as our 6yo slept on the couch in our bedroom. Enjoyed the space, the decor, the location right on the edge of the park, and the amenities. The bathrooms were beautiful and towels and sheets high quality. Nice TVs and record player + Sonofor the evenings. We hit up Von’s one day and got enough groceries to be able to cook many of our meals in the large well-equipped kitchen. The kids enjoyed the ping-pong table. Only a few minor things to note: the pads underneath the climbing wall are filled unevenly with chunks of foam, and there are gaps between them, so if you or your kids are using good to keep your eye out. The fire pit is nice to look at but doesn’t generate much heat or stand up to the wind, so better for a warm, calm night rather than cold or windy one. On the whole though, an excellent experience and would recommend.

This place is AMAZING! Almost too amazing. We really didn't want to leave the house to go into Joshua Tree National Park. There is so much to do to keep you entertained at the house. The record player and the selection of records provided was a huge hit with all kinds of genre's of music to select from. Something for everyone. The house was plenty big enough that you can sleep comfortably in your rooms even with the night owls or the early risers doing their thing in the living room and kitchen. The decor was inviting and really brought the house together to make you feel right at home. Whether you are in the hot tub, lounging on the patio sofa swing, climbing the rock wall, playing bocce ball, watching a movie on the big screen, playing foosball or ping pong in the game room, riding one of the 4 bikes provided around the neighborhood, or just sitting at the kitchen bar chatting with friends and family, remember....there is a National Park just down the street to explore too!

This is a fantastic house in a fabulous location. The layout is perfect for a family or group, with plenty of areas for eating, reading, playing games, sleeping, etc. The bonus art and climbing rooms are great fun, and the movie theater set up was a particular highlight for us. I booked this house for a quiet getaway with my partner and couldn’t be more pleased. We definitely want to come back with our friends to enjoy all the extra bedrooms and space. We are both musicians so the art room was a perfect spot to play. I needed to work remotely on the trip and the internet is super fast, which wasn’t the case with our last rental in Joshua Tree. This place is a whole VIBE! The pictures don’t do it justice. It's a great combo of relaxing and upscale. We didn't even make it into the house, and we were greeted by the huge porch swing and didn't want to get up. It's super close to some of our favorite spots in JT and 29. Really lovely home - gave me great ideas for a reno I'm doing of my own home! The kids loved the playroom and the freedom of the art room. We had a little trouble with getting the theatre projector tv to work and heating the place but there were plenty of tvs (and other things to do!) and blankets so it didn't set us back one bit. We took advantage of every amenity: bocce ball, hammocks, fire pit, jacuzzi, swinging chair, ping pong, foosball, darts, climbing wall, even the little chalkboard door in the kitchen... we missed using the BBQ but took full advantage of everything else the house had to offer.

My friends and I had an amazing stay! We wished we had more time and could have stay longer cause the house was so fun. The climbing wall, bikes, and games were a great way to just stay in and chill, and the view looking out to the desert with the garage door up was serene. We enjoyed cooking meals in the beautiful kitchen and sitting around the live edge table to be together was so nice. We really appreciated the details of the house and totally had Creedence Clearwater Revival playing on the record to set the vibes. This house had it all! We had lots of outings planned, but ended up staying on the property for the better part of our trip because it’s so relaxing here. The best part for our group was the indoor/outdoor living. We were able to walk into Joshua Tree National Park and have the whole place to ourselves. The sunsets are beautiful, sitting at the fire pit to end the day as the sun goes down was unmatched. There is an al fresco dining area where you can stare at the otherworldly boulders of Joshua Tree. At first, I was a little hesitant to book something that seems so far away from Joshua Tree, but the 6 minute drive was nothing compared to the size of this place and the proximity to hikes in the park. The unique climbing wall and art room was such a treat. I wasn’t sure exactly how we would use these rooms, but the kids (who were visiting with friends) spent a good deal of our time in there. We’ll be back.

This was an amazing home with so many great features in every corner. Each section of the home had a completely different space to hang out in - we almost covered them all. There were Wi-Fi speakers in different areas and the studio/climbing wall/ theater was an amazing play room. One of the guys with me had to work from home and had solid internet connectivity through the day. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and I slept like a rock. Each room felt welcoming and had thoughtful design. 10/10 would recommend and would love to return. I did not have enough time to utilize all the amenities. Extend your stay and enjoy the home.

We absolutely loved our stay at climbers paradise! The kiddos love the game room with rock wall, they don’t most of their time here. The art room is such a great touch, and all the doors to outside make it feel like you are a part of the nature. The backyard is incredible with its jacuzzi and cowboy pool! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back. My favorite part is when night falls you are swarmed by stars! Bring your telescope!! Or maybe the could add one? Either way this weekend was fantastic!

We hosted a friend reunion that was 6 years in the making here and we couldn't have asked for a better place! There was plenty of room for everyone to participate in an activity as a group or as an individual, and that allowed for our varying energies to flow so well. What a wonderful stay! This house is soooo beautiful! It really is the best of all worlds. There was a room for every one and every space was super spacious. The house is clean, smells like a resort, and the beds were super comfortable. I love that the activity rooms connect to the main house. The kids had a blast in the painting room and the climbing wall was out of this world!! I messaged the host about trying to get the projector to work and that went really smoothly. Climber’s paradise was an ideal staycation spot. We had all amenities and were able to enjoy our time. Tremendously enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and game room were a personal favorite of mine. But also spent many an hour in the art room. What a beautiful home! We've stayed in a lot of AirBnB's that are homes that are just 4 walls, no style, no love, empty picture frames with the tags still on them, etc. THIS PLACE IS NOT THAT. We loved every minute that we were here. We both rock climb, so the climbing walls were the main thing that drew us here, but the spa, cowboy pool, fire pits, projector, and everything else were definitely put to use as well. It's very close to the main entrance of the park, ~10-15 minutes up the road, and it's ~8 minutes from the downtown area where there is a lot of vintage shopping, coffee, and restaurants. The managers of the property were very prompt in responding to questions we had, and very accommodating. We'll definitely be coming backl.

Incredible place! We were immediately wow’d by how beautiful and cozy the spot was. It doesn’t have that sterile airbnb feel. Everything you could want is basically there. We had an amazing time celebrating our bride to be at Climber’s Paradise! Check in was a breeze. The house is huge and has SO much to offer, we wish we had more time there to enjoy all its amenities. The kitchen has everything you’d need to cook any meal and they even provide coffee & sugar. The neighborhood is quiet and secure, and it’s only blocks from the National park. We hardly left the house during our stay. The host was kind enough to recommend some local restaurants and activities so we visited the JT farmers market and had a delicious dinner at a Mexican restaurant 10 mins away. The bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of towels, make up wipes, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. We loved the art room! We all painted pictures of the groom for the bride to keep. I personally loved the abundance of temperature control, I run hot and it was so nice having ceiling fans, mini splits and central AC. We can’t wait to come back and stay at more Homestead Modern properties!

Our family spent a wonderful weekend at the homestead modern! There are so many great spots to gather around the property. The game room with climbing wall was a unique treat! We loved the fire pit and the inline gas made barbecuing a breeze. Access to the wilderness area of the park is just a short walk from the property and a nice little hike for the early morning. As we discussed the rating for our stay, we wavered between 4 and 5 stars. Family vacation, 6 adults plus a 7 year old - Feb 2024, coming from 3 different cities. This house had all of the things we were looking for. Spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. A good kitchen and a large dining table - we like to cook and eat together, and play board games late into the night. Good gas grill just outside the dining room. There is a ton of room here, even before you get to the "art room" and "climbing room". The 7 year old especially loved the "art room". She and here father did a lot of painting and played on the foosball table on our rainy day. The house was wonderfully clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was excellent. We had some issues, however, with maintenance items that detracted from enjoying our stay. We have detailed them for the owners, and hopefully they will correct these for their future visitors. I would stay here again. Good house.

Climber's Paradise was pretty close to paradise. We had a great stay and would return. The location was between the two main entrances, which saved us from waiting in long lines at the West entrance. It was also nice to be able to walk up the street and be in a corner of the park. The house was VERY clean. We appreciated the little touches... numerous throw blankets, bottle of wine. Our whole family enjoyed the game room. Even though we could never get the Projector working, the host did try to help us. There were only a couple problems - no paper / dish towels, broken record player - but neither negatively impacted our stay. We appreciated the host's responsiveness. We also loved the outdoor space! Who knew Bocce ball was so fun! The jacuzzi was hot and the outdoor fire pit convenient. Though it wasn't as dark as we'd hoped due to lights from town and street posts we could still see countless stars. Climber's Paradise was a true find and we highly recommend!

The house was beautiful, clean, cozy, the kids loved climbing and painting. We had some difficulty finding the right way to get in the house since we checked in late but the host was very responsive and helped us figure it out quickly. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, the guest shower wasn’t working so everyone had to use the master bedroom shower. The bikes were nowhere to be found and we were a little disappointed that the key to the outdoor fireplace was missing since we were excited to have s’mores outside but overall, the place was really fun! I would recommend it!

The house was large and very comfortable. The living room was huge and allowed for 8 people to be on the couch at once. The back room with the climbing wall was amazing and the hit of the weekend; the kids loved climbing all over the walls, playing the games and watching tv in what was basically a movie theatre. The outdoor firepit had tons of seating, jacuzzi was clean, views were amazing and the house was easy to find. Access to the national park was right up the road so hiking didn't require a car ride which was great. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is great for families, especially older kids. Plenty of space to spread out and fun things to do. We took advantage of the game room, bbq, and spa. Loved that we could bring our dog and it is a short walk to part of Joshua tree park with a little trail. The host was responsive. When the fire alarm started chirping, they sent a maintenence guy over quick to swap out the battery. There were small things that could have been better (dishwasher botton rack broken, no paper towels, not enough towels, sewage smell by the outside fire pit and the heat kicking in in the middle of the night), but hopefully it will be fixed by the next guests. Overall, we were happy and it was a great vacation.

Omg climbers paradise was a DREAM. We never wanted to leave!!! A group of 8 of us stayed there for the meteor shower and it did not disappoint. Large lay out, comfy beds, great kitchen, outdoor space was awesome with the fire pits and great stargazing conditions! The climbing room was a fan favorite with the big screen and ping pong table. We would absolutely stay here again and again. If you need a place for a large group BOOK HERE. Also proximity to JTNP and Walmart/convenience stores was very convenient but also remote enough to where it felt private.

Beautiful home, spacious, peaceful, a great spot for families. Kids (& adults) can play and paint in their art room, supplies are ready to use. Their playroom has a large projector setup to stream movies, a climbing wall which was a blast to climb, and ping pong table too! For adults, I enjoyed the kitchen, eating in the backyard, time in their Jacuzzi, and evenings around the firepit with a few drinks in hand.

Went here for my 30th birthday with my fiance, friends, and dog. There was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy and we had a lot of fun with the rock climbing wall, ping pong, and movie set up. There's also a record player with a good variety of music to choose from. My fiance is a chef so the kitchen was heavily utilized. We also spent a lot of time outside during the night so we can take a good look at the stars which were beautiful. There's a Walmart, Aldi's, Vons, Ross, Marshalls, and more not too far away which was a huge surprise to me. Very convenient. Some cons were items that were either broken or super easy to break like the chairs, ping pong paddle,and a whisk. The outside also isn't fenced and there is are cacti which isn't necessarily a bad thing but just make sure if you bring your dog to keep them on leash. Still, they were very good about communication and more than willing to bring over a new paddle and fix/check anything we needed.

We decided to spend a weekend at Joshua tree for a friend’s birthday. The house was easy to find, great decor and plenty of space to lounge around. They also provided a pack and play for our baby. My favorite spot was the front swing. This spot had the best skyviews at sunrise and sunset. The 2 fun back rooms were unique and we had a great time spending time in those 2 rooms. They are exactly as pictured! There is a stater brothers and vons within 20 mins of the house. We went to the park from the North entrance which is about 30 minutes away and did a couple of hikes with our 6 month old baby. We enjoyed our stay at the Climbers Paradise and would consider coming back!

We stayed here with a group of friends we hadn’t seen in a long time. It was the perfect place to accomodate the group all together or off in our own space to get away from the bustle. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking in the cool evenings after sunset and the fire pit was perfect for gathering around. What an experience. LARGE, beautiful house full of amenities. Entertainment galore for the kids. We had some trouble figuring out a feature on the bath in the main bathroom and Homestead Modern was sooo helpful, responding within minutes and guiding us through every step. The surroundings was just beautiful. You can walk down one block and be at the border of Joshua Tree National Park. Sunset and Sunrise is stunning on this little patch of the walk. We had an amazing experience. A helpful hint for next guests would be to fill the Cowboy Tub up in the morning so that it can be warmed up by the sun, perfect in time for an afternoon dip after a day of hiking!

Climber’s Paradise is such a beautiful and fun home that we thought the photos did not do it justice. There wasn’t enough time to do everything on offer. We watched sunrises from the porch swing and stars from the spa. Half of us painted on canvas for the first time. The wall-climbing, ping-pong, and foosball were great for our 3-generation family. The young ones loved the cowboy swimming pool and at least one of the adults enjoyed the outdoor shower. We hiked the neighborhood roads and a bit into the National Park. I think everyone tried out the hammock. The kitchen was well-provisioned and a pleasure to use with counter space for multiple cooks and seating for others. The beds were very comfortable, and the bed linens attractive with separate indoor and outdoor towels. There was an abundance of engaging places to be both inside and outside of the house. Being there felt expansive and generous and relaxing.

Had a great stay at this house. Shared it with another family, so they were six of us in total. Honestly was even bigger than we needed. One bedroom went unused, as our 6yo slept on the couch in our bedroom. Enjoyed the space, the decor, the location right on the edge of the park, and the amenities. The bathrooms were beautiful and towels and sheets high quality. Nice TVs and record player + Sonofor the evenings. We hit up Von’s one day and got enough groceries to be able to cook many of our meals in the large well-equipped kitchen. The kids enjoyed the ping-pong table. Only a few minor things to note: the pads underneath the climbing wall are filled unevenly with chunks of foam, and there are gaps between them, so if you or your kids are using good to keep your eye out. The fire pit is nice to look at but doesn’t generate much heat or stand up to the wind, so better for a warm, calm night rather than cold or windy one. On the whole though, an excellent experience and would recommend.

This place is AMAZING! Almost too amazing. We really didn't want to leave the house to go into Joshua Tree National Park. There is so much to do to keep you entertained at the house. The record player and the selection of records provided was a huge hit with all kinds of genre's of music to select from. Something for everyone. The house was plenty big enough that you can sleep comfortably in your rooms even with the night owls or the early risers doing their thing in the living room and kitchen. The decor was inviting and really brought the house together to make you feel right at home. Whether you are in the hot tub, lounging on the patio sofa swing, climbing the rock wall, playing bocce ball, watching a movie on the big screen, playing foosball or ping pong in the game room, riding one of the 4 bikes provided around the neighborhood, or just sitting at the kitchen bar chatting with friends and family, remember....there is a National Park just down the street to explore too!

This is a fantastic house in a fabulous location. The layout is perfect for a family or group, with plenty of areas for eating, reading, playing games, sleeping, etc. The bonus art and climbing rooms are great fun, and the movie theater set up was a particular highlight for us. I booked this house for a quiet getaway with my partner and couldn’t be more pleased. We definitely want to come back with our friends to enjoy all the extra bedrooms and space. We are both musicians so the art room was a perfect spot to play. I needed to work remotely on the trip and the internet is super fast, which wasn’t the case with our last rental in Joshua Tree. The house also has some streaming services which we loved. Clearly a well designed space where they thought of everything you would need. We'll be back!

This place is a whole VIBE! The pictures don’t do it justice. It's a great combo of relaxing and upscale. We didn't even make it into the house, and we were greeted by the huge porch swing and didn't want to get up. It's super close to some of our favorite spots in JT and 29. Really lovely home - gave me great ideas for a reno I'm doing of my own home! The kids loved the playroom and the freedom of the art room. We had a little trouble with getting the theatre projector tv to work and heating the place but there were plenty of tvs (and other things to do!) and blankets so it didn't set us back one bit. We took advantage of every amenity: bocce ball, hammocks, fire pit, jacuzzi, swinging chair, ping pong, foosball, darts, climbing wall, even the little chalkboard door in the kitchen... we missed using the BBQ but took full advantage of everything else the house had to offer.

My friends and I had an amazing stay! We wished we had more time and could have stay longer cause the house was so fun. The climbing wall, bikes, and games were a great way to just stay in and chill, and the view looking out to the desert with the garage door up was serene. We enjoyed cooking meals in the beautiful kitchen and sitting around the live edge table to be together was so nice. We really appreciated the details of the house and totally had Creedence Clearwater Revival playing on the record to set the vibes. This house had it all! This is an incredible house. The art room and indoor climbing wall and game room / theater areas were such a blast. We also appreciated that three of the bedrooms have king beds. Why don’t more people do that? It was a perfect size for our group of eight. Everything felt fresh and clean. The location is very convenient to the park and town. We will definitely stay here again.

This place has everything you could ask for. Great layout with lots of room to spread out or spend time with loved ones. Great views of the park and you can walk up the hill to have direct access. The climbing wall and home theater seal the deal. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Would definitely come back.

This home is absolutely amazing. One of the most spectacular settings in the Joshua Tree area. No shortage of fun things to keep you entertained at the home as well...they even have a movie theater room and indoor rock climbing gym!

This place is incredible! I love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. My friends who visited us had half a dozen places/areas to sit and enjoy a meal and drinks. We had lots of outings planned, but ended up staying on the property for the better part of our trip because it’s so relaxing here. The best part for our group was the indoor/outdoor living. We were able to walk into Joshua Tree National Park and have the whole place to ourselves. The sunsets are beautiful, sitting at the fire pit to end the day as the sun goes down was unmatched. There is an al fresco dining area where you can stare at the otherworldly boulders of Joshua Tree. At first, I was a little hesitant to book something that seems so far away from Joshua Tree, but the 6 minute drive was nothing compared to the size of this place and the proximity to hikes in the park. The unique climbing wall and art room was such a treat. I wasn’t sure exactly how we would use these rooms, but the kids (who were visiting with friends) spent a good deal of our time in there. We’ll be back.

This was an amazing home with so many great features in every corner. Each section of the home had a completely different space to hang out in - we almost covered them all. There were Wi-Fi speakers in different areas and the studio/climbing wall/ theater was an amazing play room. One of the guys with me had to work from home and had solid internet connectivity through the day. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and I slept like a rock. Each room felt welcoming and had thoughtful design. 10/10 would recommend and would love to return. I did not have enough time to utilize all the amenities. Extend your stay and enjoy the home.
