Airway To Heaven can comfortably sleep 8 guests in three bedrooms with an additional sleeping/work/play space adjacent to the Primary with large day bed. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with rainshower, and a private patio onto the private spa area. The second and third bedrooms have queen-sized beds and share a bathroom with a bathtub & shower.

-KITCHEN & DINING-
The kitchen is fully equipped for any desert-inspired culinary endeavor. Like the rest of the home, even the kitchen offers stunning views. The kitchen faces the dining area, where you’ll find a breakfast bar and a table for 6. Although you may be tempted to take your meal outside to the patio’s dining table, which seats 8, next to the BBQ and hammock.

Airway To Heaven has a security camera mounted on the driveway, and directed at the exterior of the home in order to monitor the quantity of cars on property so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. Nothing is pointed inside the home.

As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. We pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

Neighborhood

When going to Joshua Tree one couldn’t imagine a better location in ambiance and convenience than Western Hills Estate, adjacent to the coveted Rock Reach areas of Yucca Valley as well as Pioneertown and the National Park. The area is private, but not remote with gorgeous views of mountains, Joshua trees, & desert flora & fauna. During the day, you can explore nature in your own backyard, and at night, the stargazing can’t be beat. Yet you can be in town within 2 minutes.

In addition to shopping and dining, you won’t want to miss these nearby highlights:
• Pioneertown (8-minute drive) - Put on your ten-gallon hat and stroll down Mane Street of this Wild West-inspired town, also known for Pappy & Harriet’s, a notable restaurant and venue.
• Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum (20-minute drive) - As far from a stuffy gallery as you can imagine, this outdoor sculpture garden contains a unique collection of folk-art.
• The Integratron (15-minute drive) - New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.
• Palm Springs (40-minute drive) - Artsy town known for vintage shopping, art galleries, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

Transit

Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not. Airway to Heaven is on all paved roads leading to the home.

• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.

• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.

• SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!

• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

• ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain

HouseRules

VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT A LEASE AND CONVEYS NO RIGHTS IN REAL PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. YOUR USE IS LIMITED TO THAT DEFINED HEREIN.

• The number of people on the property may not exceed the number of guests in your reservation confirmation plus two (regardless of whether they are staying the night or just visiting). Additional guest fees starting at $65 per person per night will apply for any unauthorized persons.

• Your sole right to access the property begins with the 3PM check-in and ends at the 11AM check-out, unless other times are approved in writing in advance. Check-in is not allowed after 9PM unless approved in advance. We will charge 50% of the daily rate for an unauthorized early arrival or late check-out.

• Dogs are allowed with prior written permission, with the payment of an additional cleaning fee, and only at certain properties. No other pets or animals are allowed. Dog owners agree to the following additional rules: use protective sheets that we will leave out for you to cover any place where your dog may lie (we are not equipped to shampoo furniture or rugs or dry clean bedding after your departure); dogs must be leashed at all times when outside (there are coyotes in the High Desert, which present danger to unleashed dogs) and owners must immediately pick up after their dogs and deposit waste in a plastic bag and place it in the garbage bin; dogs are not to be left unattended in the property at any time. In addition to our additional dog cleaning fee, we will deduct the costs of extra cleaning (including at least $50 for pet fur left on furniture due to lack of use of the provided protective sheets) or repairs necessitated by the presence of your dog.

• Recreational vehicles, motorcycles and camping or other overnight accommodations outside the property are not allowed. Violations of this policy will result in termination of the reservation with no refund.

• We do not guarantee the speed or availability of internet service. Internet service may be provided by a satellite and/or wireless provider and may be subject to more fluctuations and outages than you may be used to and we do not provide refunds or discounts due to internet problems. No illegal or abusive use of the internet access is allowed. Guests may log in to their personal accounts on any devices at the property (e.g. smart TVs), but guests are responsible for logging out of all personal accounts prior to leaving the property and we are not responsible for any use or purchase made on guest accounts.

• Cell service may not be available at the property due to the rural nature and geography of the area.

• The High Desert occasionally has power outages due to its rural nature. We are not responsible for any outages of Southern California Edison or any inconvenience such outage may cause. We will notify you of any planned outages and if requested will attempt to accommodate you elsewhere in the event of a planned outage lasting more than 4 hours. But we do not provide refunds or discounts for power outages that are unplanned.

• No photoshoots are allowed on the property without prior written approval and the payment of additional fees. Unauthorized use of the rental property’s name, address, or images, including its interior, exterior, and / or private property surroundings, for any commercial use including but not limited to selling, advertising, TV, film production, electronic, or other media, is not permitted and we will seek to have any use removed.

• Special events such as weddings and parties are not permitted without written approval and the payment of additional fees.

• Guests who utilize a property’s hot tub, pools and/or plunge pool do so at their own risk and we are not liable for any personal injury or other damages associated with such use. Guests may not use glass or pottery glassware, plates, etc. in or anywhere near any such water amenity. If any glass or pottery ware is broken in or near a water amenity, you will be charged the full amount to drain and refill the amenity and for any lost revenue during such service. Guests may not leave minors unattended at any hot tub, pool or plunge pool. If a water amenity is left uncovered, you will be charged a minimum of $100 for additional cleaning/filling/heating.
No lifeguard is on duty; the primary guest on the reservation is responsible for the safe operation of the pool and for the safety of any persons using the pool; by utilizing any pool or spa all guests acknowledge and accept the risk of injury resulting from use of the pool, malfunction of pool equipment, tripping or falling around the pool/spa and any other injuries that may occur and waive all claims against the homeowner or its representatives including Homestead Modern LLC.

• Guests shall allow the property owner or any designated workers access to the property for landscaping and routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs and building inspections, and pool and hot tub repairs and service.

• If for any reason beyond the control of the owner, the property is unavailable, we may cancel your reservation with only a refund to the actual fees and / or deposits you have paid.

• Smoking is not allowed inside the property or within 15 feet of any exterior door. Please dispose of your extinguished cigarette waste into a plastic bag and then into the outdoor

garbage can. Do not leave cigarette waste on the grounds. If these rules are violated, we will charge a minimum of $250.

• Propane firepits or fireplaces may not be used for burning wood or any other materials (it is illegal pursuant to a county ordinance and may damage the fixture). If any combustible materials are burned in them, we will charge a minimum of $500 cleaning fee.

• By making your reservation, you confirm that you will comply with (and your stay is allowed by) any applicable health or safety orders from the State of California.

• Firearms are not allowed on the property.

• Local ordinances prohibit any loud, excessive, or intrusive noise that disturbs the peace or that causes discomfort or annoyance to any reasonable person at any time as well as strict quiet hours between 10PM and 7AM. You must adhere to these rules.

• Please pay attention to all relevant short-term rental ordinances and other regulations (such as the noise ordinance above) in accordance with county or town guidelines. If you violate any ordinance and as a result the property is fined, you will be responsible for payment of the fine plus a $500 administrative fee.

• Payments are due 50% at 60 days before check-in and 50% at 30 days before check-in (or at the time of reservation if less than the days for either payment).

• A deposit is required at the time of booking and any unused portion will be returned 7 days after checkout. Bookings may include an accidental damage protection fee – with payment of this non-refundable fee, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $1000 and that you report to us during your stay. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets.

• We may withhold all or part of your deposit if you fail to follow the rules in this agreement, the property listing or the property house manual. If the cost of the damages, losses, or missing items exceed the amount of the deposit, we will bill your credit card for the difference and / or pursue legal action. Cause(s) for withholding deposit funds include, but are not limited to: damage to premises or contents, missing or broken items, lost keys, required excessive cleaning, not complying fully with the departure checklist, smoke odors or damage, mailing charges for items left behind, unauthorized persons visiting or staying on the property, the presence of a dog without authorization, noise complaints after 10PM, including fines, trespassing on neighboring properties, violation of any county or town rules and unauthorized late check-out.

• We are not responsible for any personal injury or personal property loss or damage that you or your guests may incur while at the property, you assume all risks associated with your visit and will hold the property owner and manager harmless from any injuries, loss or damage.

We had a great stay in Yucca Valley overall! The home is beautiful and completely accurate to the photos (the backyard is even larger than I expected!) Giving only 4 stars because we received notice two days before check-in that the oven was no longer working (this was also over a holiday weekend so it's understandable that getting a repair person out would be difficult). I was informed that there would be a large air fryer left in the kitchen, and we shifted our meal planning to use the grill/stovetop (both worked great). Unfortunately, we could not find the air fryer anywhere, although the host insisted that it had been left in the kitchen. Didn't end up being a big deal as we were still able to cook what we needed, but it was a bit confusing. Besides that small hiccup, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again! Very comfortably fit 8 adults, and the driveway definitely could fit 4-5 smaller cars.

This home exceeded all our of expectations. There were 7 of us and it fit us perfectly. We all thought it was way better than the photos even though the photos are beautiful! The amenities and small touches were great. The beds were very comfortable and the living room was amazing, great for a group. We didn’t spend much time outside but it was beautiful! The management company was extremely responsive and thoughtful offering us a bottle of wine as we were there for my birthday. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

We booked this house after our initial house was double booked on us and we had to relocate… This house had everything we wanted and we’re looking for. The modern take with a vintage twist! We also enjoyed that hot tub / cowboy pool had a bit of privacy. Sounds so small to many but the brand new sealed sponge to wash dishes / clean up with made me feel that this home is taken care of and has hopes each guest will do the same. We would stay here again

This was the perfect hideaway whilst remote working with my partner & dog. So many places to relax inside and out the home, that is so beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was provided from a fully stocked kitchen to makeup wipes in the bathroom. The outdoor space was open but still private for us to relax. My girlfriends and I chose this home to ring in my birthday, and traveled from all around the country to meet here. Our expectations were exceeded, this place actually looks better than the photos, which were what sold us to begin with. The location was perfect. Really convenient. Incredibly cozy space & comfortable beds. We couldn’t get the living room TV to work but we didn’t need it. Most of our time was spent on the patio! Ideal setup! Only thing that could’ve improved the stay is if the Cowboy tub were filled, but we got there right at the start of hot weather. Would definitely stay here again!

We ended up here after an emergency required us to relocate - this is to say we needed a good, safe place, on short notice; Homestead Modern delivered. This home is stunning. Plenty of space inside and outside on the property, my party and I spent a good chunk of time just admiring the design and deco. The place is incredibly cozy for how large it is, while sporting all amenities one needs over a multi-night stay. The beautifully clean jacuzzi in the backyard is fenced off for privacy, with string lights overhead - this is maintained multiple times per week. Incredible. What benefits from a similar maintenance regimen is the bits of garden that adorn this home's walkway to the front door, and backyard seating area where the town of Yucca Valley is in full view from the hills. Your search is over. Stop looking. You're not going to find anywhere else that has a lava-lamp fireplace. Have a nice stay! We sure did.

Beautiful, well styled home. This home was a wonderful setting for a girls weekend 12 years in the making. We spent most of our time chilling together in the large living room and hot tub. The rooms are private and comfortable. The master bathroom shower was spa like, but uses a lot of water for 1 person. Great for a 2 person shower! My only disappointment was that the home was listed as having a well stocked kitchen with spices. There was salt, pepper and cooking oil, but that was about it. As this was a weekend where my friends and I planned a few meals that used common spices in our cooking, it was a it disappointing that the well stocked kitchen was lacking. The gas grill had a few bugs. It would have been nice if the instructions were personalized to the house rather than generic for all the properties.

We had an amazing weeklong stay here! The house is huge and absolutely gorgeous, and the outdoor area has stunning views and a lovely hot tub and cowboy tub. It was super clean and well stocked with amenities. The location is near tons of great bars, shopping, and restaurants, as well as grocery stores and JT National Park. The wifi was also super fast. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yucca Valley/JT.

This was a beautiful property inside and out. Very spacious and comfortable with easy and accurate central temperature control. There was a nice welcome gift as soon as we entered. When I did contact the property managers they responded right away. The lighting over the beautiful patio and pool and Jacuzzi area was incredible and there is a dimmer switch for each area. Many a nap was taken on the patio furniture or in the hammock! To save a call to the Property Managers the cold and hot are switched from what I'm used to in the kitchen and showers, so even though it feels colder at first coming out, leave it running for a few minutes and it will warm up. The oven is older but we had no problems cooking on the electric stove top or the oven. A pulled port and a perfectly cooked carrot cake was made with no issues. The kitchen is stocked well and we purchased and few larger coffee mugs and left them there for future guests, the other mugs are fine for normal coffee drinkers. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the 2 headed shower in the Master bath. Even the outside was nicely raked and landscaped with easy semicircular driveway. Convenient location to everything with a nice view of all the moon-rises. Last but not least there was unscented laundry detergent as well as unscented dryer sheets which was very much appreciated!

If you're looking to unwind and do nothing in the desert, this is the place for you. The electric car charger is amazing! There's nothing really nearby to charge your car so this was really a lifesaver. It's close to grocery stores as well as great hikes. The hot tub was amazing and the pool was super useful when it started getting hot. Our dog had a blast playing fetch in the backyard.

Everything was relatively accurate and they had excellent communication. They were very responsive when we asked questions and needed help with checking-in. I agree with some of the previous reviews that the value is a tad below what we paid for-- the hot tub was a huge let down for my guest and I. The smaller bathroom made a constant water pumping noise, so for a light sleeper, I did not get as much rest, because I was in the bedroom next to it. Using the toilet also posed some issues, as there are cracks behind the toilet and a resident arachnid would visit each morning, and the toilet could use an upgrade as flushing was really hard and sometimes the lever would not work, so I had to open the lid to help pull the chain manually for it to flush. Their fresh towels were really white and seemingly clean but did reek of bleach or the chemical from the hot tub. For the hot tub--we hung around for hours waiting for the hot tub to get hot in the evening, but it may need an upgrade, as it never got to a comfortable temperature for the cooler night time and we had to retire to our bedrooms. The tub also clearly had some differences on how well the water pressure/massager was functioning in different spots of the tub. We used the levers to adjust the force, but it was clear that some spots were just overused and starting to lose its efficacy but has not been fixed or replaced. Overall, I think the smaller bathroom's toilet and the hot tub may benefit from an update, but if you just needed a really nice home as a base for Joshua Tree, this was great, may be slightly overpaying if you want to fully use the amenities here.

This was such a beautiful place!! We had such a great time, and really enjoyed the patio, grill, pool, and hot tub. The indoors are as pretty as they look in the pictures. Kitchen was functional but the electric stove was a little hard to use and there weren't many pots and pans. The power and wifi were out for the first part of our trip and the hosts were super communicative and helpful which I appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Airway to heaven is beautiful! The location is perfect stores are not far at all and the street the home is on is private and not many cars pass by. The home is big and you feel cozy there. The AC and fans are amazing gets very cold quick for this summer heat! The home is beautifully furnished and has everything needed to have a fun & relaxing stay. They have a cabinet filled with games to play with your guest. The pool and hot tub area is fenced which gives you some privacy from the neighbors. I asked a few questions while there and Homestead Modern was very responsive they are amazing hosts. Overall would recommend this location the layout of the home itself is also very nice the kitchen is on the opposite side of the house so you do not hear if someone is in the kitchen cooking I loved it!

We had a great stay in Yucca Valley overall! The home is beautiful and completely accurate to the photos (the backyard is even larger than I expected!) Giving only 4 stars because we received notice two days before check-in that the oven was no longer working (this was also over a holiday weekend so it's understandable that getting a repair person out would be difficult). I was informed that there would be a large air fryer left in the kitchen, and we shifted our meal planning to use the grill/stovetop (both worked great). Unfortunately, we could not find the air fryer anywhere, although the host insisted that it had been left in the kitchen. Didn't end up being a big deal as we were still able to cook what we needed, but it was a bit confusing. Besides that small hiccup, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again! Very comfortably fit 8 adults, and the driveway definitely could fit 4-5 smaller cars.

Living room was very comfortable, and the Roku tv was a plus. Good communication during our stay. Very appreciative that they were able to host us on short notice (we booked the day of arriving). We had such a nice stay here and hope to be back in the future!

Super cute retro house with a lot of original touches from the 1970s! The four large beds were super convenient so no one had to fight over beds! Perfect hot tub and cowboy pool just wideout the master bedroom.

This was a beautiful property inside and out. Very spacious and comfortable with easy and accurate central temperature control. There was a nice welcome gift as soon as we entered. When I did contact the property managers they responded right away. The lighting over the beautiful patio and pool and Jacuzzi area was incredible and there is a dimmer switch for each area. Many a nap was taken on the patio furniture or in the hammock! To save a call to the Property Managers the cold and hot are switched from what I'm used to in the kitchen and showers, so even though it feels colder at first coming out, leave it running for a few minutes and it will warm up. The oven is older but we had no problems cooking on the electric stove top or the oven. A pulled port and a perfectly cooked carrot cake was made with no issues. The kitchen is stocked well and we purchased and few larger coffee mugs and left them there for future guests, the other mugs are fine for normal coffee drinkers. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the 2 headed shower in the Master bath. Even the outside was nicely raked and landscaped with easy semicircular driveway. Convenient location to everything with a nice view of all the moon-rises. Last but not least there was unscented laundry detergent as well as unscented dryer sheets which was very much appreciated!

If you're looking to unwind and do nothing in the desert, this is the place for you. The electric car charger is amazing! There's nothing really nearby to charge your car so this was really a lifesaver. It's close to grocery stores as well as great hikes. The hot tub was amazing and the pool was super useful when it started getting hot. Our dog had a blast playing fetch in the backyard.

Everything was relatively accurate and they had excellent communication. They were very responsive when we asked questions and needed help with checking-in. I agree with some of the previous reviews that the value is a tad below what we paid for-- the hot tub was a huge let down for my guest and I. The smaller bathroom made a constant water pumping noise, so for a light sleeper, I did not get as much rest, because I was in the bedroom next to it. Using the toilet also posed some issues, as there are cracks behind the toilet and a resident arachnid would visit each morning, and the toilet could use an upgrade as flushing was really hard and sometimes the lever would not work, so I had to open the lid to help pull the chain manually for it to flush. Their fresh towels were really white and seemingly clean but did reek of bleach or the chemical from the hot tub. For the hot tub--we hung around for hours waiting for the hot tub to get hot in the evening, but it may need an upgrade, as it never got to a comfortable temperature for the cooler night time and we had to retire to our bedrooms. The tub also clearly had some differences on how well the water pressure/massager was functioning in different spots of the tub. We used the levers to adjust the force, but it was clear that some spots were just overused and starting to lose its efficacy but has not been fixed or replaced. Overall, I think the smaller bathroom's toilet and the hot tub may benefit from an update, but if you just needed a really nice home as a base for Joshua Tree, this was great, may be slightly overpaying if you want to fully use the amenities here.

This was such a beautiful place!! We had such a great time, and really enjoyed the patio, grill, pool, and hot tub. The indoors are as pretty as they look in the pictures. Kitchen was functional but the electric stove was a little hard to use and there weren't many pots and pans. The power and wifi were out for the first part of our trip and the hosts were super communicative and helpful which I appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home, great location, plenty of space, comfy bed, well stocked, decent response times. If your into cooking for most of your meals this is not the home for you. All of the appliances are difficult to work or did not work appropriately. Just needs an update. Perhaps ones where you can read dials or don’t sound like they were going to explode. Felt like my camping gear would have worked better. We used the grill outside which worked well for most of our meals. Also, had some issues with cleanliness upon arrival.

1. The house is as beautiful as the pictures online. 2. We had a couple questions during our stay and we messaged the owner via Airbnb website, they responded our questions normally within 3 hours. 3. Wifi works well for WFH. 4. A bunch of restaurants and stores around the house. 4. Very close to one of the Joshua tree National Park entrances, if you are visiting Joshua tree National Park, the location of this house is highly recommended.

Beautiful, spacious, clean home in Yucca Valley. Several minutes away from grocery stores and about 15 min from Joshua Tree. Hot tub was a great touch! Communication was seamless. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay, large house with great privacy. Very enjoyable living room. Double check with the host regarding the oven update; we had to mainly cook using the stovetop as we couldn't control the temperature of the oven accurately. Main bedroom is very charming !

Loved our stay here and would love to stay again. All of the rooms are beautiful, and the amenities are sweet! Furniture and overall decor was comfy/hip/cute, living room was spacious and welcoming, outdoor spaces were relaxing and fun, EV charging was a huge plus, a nice BBQ grill for our lunch/dinner, beds comfy, and of course the shower was seriously incredible. So many little touches on the house that made it super special. We stayed with our 1 year old and he loved playing in all the rooms, especially the living room. The high chair provided was great for us.

This house was a great base camp for exploring Joshua Tree! The backyard, porch and hot tub were awesome and perfect for relaxing after a long day hiking. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The house had everything we needed. The host provided excellent communication throughout our entire trip and was able to help us very quickly after the pilot light went out on the hot water heater without any sort of hassle or interruption to our vacation! Highly recommend this home for a family or group coming to Joshua Tree!

Absolutely gorgeous and spacious home in a very quiet neighborhood. Check in was easy, WiFi worked perfectly so I could work, the decor was beautiful and the master bedroom bed was amazingly comfortable! The privacy of the hot and cold tub made the place feel like you were right at home. There was everything you needed to cook meals at home in the kitchen and many areas to read, lounge, relax and do yoga! The place was immaculately clean and I would love to come back again! :-)

Airway to heaven is beautiful! The location is perfect stores are not far at all and the street the home is on is private and not many cars pass by. The home is big and you feel cozy there. The AC and fans are amazing gets very cold quick for this summer heat! The home is beautifully furnished and has everything needed to have a fun & relaxing stay. They have a cabinet filled with games to play with your guest. The pool and hot tub area is fenced which gives you some privacy from the neighbors. I asked a few questions while there and Homestead Modern was very responsive they are amazing hosts. Overall would recommend this location the layout of the home itself is also very nice the kitchen is on the opposite side of the house so you do not hear if someone is in the kitchen cooking I loved it!
