Homestead Modern Co-producing High Desert Home Tour in Support of Architectural Preservation
Homestead Modern is helping one of the desert’s leading architectural preservation organizations with its upcoming tour of nine eclectic and never-before-toured High Desert homes.
Included on the self-driving tour will be….
a dramatic steel, glass and concrete home just being completed in the Monument Manor neighborhood of Joshua Tree
a unique shipping container home (complete with shipping container swimming pool)
an architecturally significant home perched on a dramatic 160-acre parcel
a hidden modern gem of a compound in the heart of the Joshua Tree village
two new modern homes being offered by separate High Desert home developers
a wildly eclectic ranch property with surprises at every turn
The tour will conclude with a reception at the recently renovated 1954 homestead cabin that is the home of Homestead Modern’s founder Dave McAdam in the heart of dramatic Gamma Gulch.
The tour is set for the afternoon of Saturday, June 1. Tickets are $125 each.
Co-producing the tour are the Palm Springs Modern Committee (PS ModCom) and Homestead Modern.Proceeds from the event will help PS ModCom fund its architectural preservation and eduction efforts.
